Frankland Estate in the heart of the Frankland River region is well known for its consistently outstanding wines. Before establishing the vineyard in 1988, co-founders Judi Cullam and Barrie Smith traveled extensively through the great wine regions of Europe, where their love of food and wine also took them to some of the famous olive oil-producing regions of Italy. As with Frankland Estate's renowned Isolation Ridge Vineyard wines, the family's olive trees are grown organically. The vineyard and grove has achieved full organic certification in 2010. Frankland Estate's commitment to fine food and wine delivers a crafted blending of mission, pizzini and frantoio - with a small portion of manzanillo - to produce an extra virgin oil of complexity, intensity and balance.
